What breed of snake are they? As you appear to own several, what's something someone should consider about such an animal as a pet?
Are they easier to take care of compared to a dog or cat?
Snakes are something I have thought of having as a pet once. Unfortunately my lifestyle has me away from home often, so keeping an animal isn't as easy to do.
But what are your recommendations?

I’ll say with the right research they are much easier than a cat or Dog. My snakes range from 2 ball pythons and a king snake. The ball python being a bit easier since enclosed wise you can use a tub system to keep them happy. For the most part snakes are a good pet to have if you travel a little if you have an auto misting system and have plenty of water in the bowl for maybe a week. Most snakes can go a while without eating for months (don’t recommend that.) Ball pythons can get picky when they eat so be warned on that. Care sheets exist everywhere. But I consider them easy. Rewarding pets to have.

If it’s a first snake I’d say any snake can be a first time snake with the right research. Just avoid anything you don’t feel comfortable raising and working with. If you wan easy easy pet you could do tarantula’s if you want an easy time with a new world terrestrial species. If you’re not afraid.
List of good starter snakes
*Ball python
*Corn snake
*garter snakes
*milk/king snakes

Appreciate taking the time to answer! Sounds fairly straightforward enough. As for tarantulas I feel I have enough of those walking around my house on any given day, haha!
Last week I walked into my kitchen first thing in the morning and had a spider hanging directly in my face. Also woken up with spiders on my face while in bed.
My house is spider central.
