True anime fan or casual anime fan

metaljester
Actually allow me to correct that on anime im sure its at least 400 something now as for exactly how many i stopped counting after that to be honest but just because you dont watch non mainstream doesnt mean your not a hardcore fan i watch both but also im aware of the fillers theirs a reason why i like naruto it is similar to me and i connect with it especially the character regardless of fillers or not i like it
mercule
haha ive lost count and no i dont see a list. Not really questioning you on anything. Just stating my opinion. Although i have seen it the only way around where you have a casual fan running off at the mouth. Seems like it just depends on the individuals
metaljester
If i posted a list that would be long however do you want me to god its going to be time consuming lol and i do agree with you somewhat manic
mercule

Considering the definition that was posted first than I would be a hardcore anime fan but I don't consider myself one. I just really love anime and I do buy the merchandise(figurines, DVDs,etc.). I also get the untranslated manga sometimes(I like figuring what it says on my own). But that doesn't mean I think myself above others. I think that makes me a bit of a nerd actually.
metaljester
I agree with you no matter what stuff i like im not going elitist that stuff is wrong to me
