True anime fan or casual anime fan

^^What she [misskittehcat] said. I still consider myself pretty hardcore, but I'm not even close to weeaboo. People at cons STILL look at me funny because they believe I shouldn't be there; I'm a 'normal' (happens EVERY con). I've never cosplayed; not because I'm above it, but because I don't really see anything that I'm close to (besides Dutch from Black Lagoon...but I need a Revy for that...). EDIT: Just read this article...it explains to a degree the plight of someone who has to 'go harder' because of race (and supports one of my previous posts): http://www.xojane.com/issues/mad-back-cosplayer-chaka-cumberbatch?utm_medium=facebook I don't need to run up and down the aisles, I don't have attention defecit disorder, I don't eat excessive amounts of Pocky (wait...no...I DO do that sometimes...). I'm still an adult, but I just happen to love anime. A LOT.

I'm a true anime fan to the point of it nearly overtaking my life xD Aside from school, I spend most of my time just watching anime or listening to vocaloids.. So, Anime ftw <3 Still haven't been to a convention, But That'll change this September xD Finally <3 <3 Guess even the language is a part of my everyday life.. Whenever we have dinner, I use asian spoons or chopsticks.. And I tend to speak some Japanese in between.. People get mad though because they don't understand what I'm saying.. Haha, Just fun ^^ That was me..

This is the first im hearing about True VS casual. I mean i collect anime figuries, DVD,CD, Mangas T-Shirt, and go to anime Cons but I don't consider myself "True" anime fan. Im a anime fan yeah but it shouldn't really be broken down to who is the ULTIMATE ANIME FAN vs THE CASUALS >.< it just really dumb and childish. most of the things i just mentions i get at anime cons anyway.
