I would like to go to Japan with a couple of my friends to see the country anime originated from. If I can find a good spot to vacation in Vietnam I would do it with my bf if I had one for a more intimate experience and seeing part of the country my grandmother came from.

I spent the majority of this past year traveling across the US in spite of covid. It wasn't exactly a pleasant experience, but it was certainly an interesting one. Like seeing how different parts of the country were taking the whole covid thing with smaller areas and those more towards the Midwest mostly ignoring it.

@neet_one Where all did you go to? I haven't done much traveling during the pandemic, but there is definitely a difference of how people handle COVID in urban vs rural settings.

There are alot of people that dont give a F about the pandemic i mean sure you have some pyschos who take it over the top wearing not only a faceshield but a facemask ontop of that. This isnt the bubonic plague sir its basically the Flu part 2. When i went traveling you could see the difference in parts of florida wearing a mask was nonexistent. Shoot even parts of cali were like that.

@verucassault Mostly just driving from California to texas, then ending up in Oklahoma and exploring a lot of the space between. Spent a few weeks in palm springs, vegas, sedona, and parts of west and north texas. Was trying to start a new life, seemed like things just kept getting worse each and every step of the way. California had turned into a crime ridden degenerate hellhole, the people were as horrible as the housing prices. Also left to be closer to my ex, who encouraged me to make the trip but ended up just ghosting me once we got here anyway. (and people wonder why I have trust issues). In spite of it all I've thought about going back a lot, though I don't even know what I'd really be going back to if I did.
