The locals were telling me it's hard to even move to Hawaii because in order to purchase property, you have to know someone who is related to someone who currently owns property in Hawaii. This is due to an agreed upon community decision. This way no trouble makers will move in. Thus affecting the tourist spots that rack in the most dough for their community
