Both Hawaii and Japan have discrimination issues for non-natives.

Hawaii wasn't too bad when I lived there for three months but it was free rent on a ship working everyday so that's not exactly the same. >.> Anyways my experiences on the islands creates this knot in my chest of butterflies remembering the times I explored the island, spent time with the locals, and just relaxed on the beach at night

@xinmage Sure. But notably so. A lot of places in the world discriminate. It's usually more targeted than any and all outsiders. They're very inward looking places. Makes sense, they're more isolated.
