Wokeness is just the zoomer's word for what Gen X's "Aware". Zoomers have not been around long enough to learn patience. That's easy to take advantage of. But the aware know this trap all to well. Things of course can't go back to simpler times. Because they grew up with the internet, information spreads a mile a nanosecond. (That's why you saw a resurgence of neo nazi and hate groups in the alt right. Fringe ideas that should have gone extinct by now, but didn't.) And honestly a big reason for that is because life expectancy has gotten better along side the spread of information. So, yes, you have these relics of the past holding lifelong political positions, and they can't exactly relate to the problems the newer generations grew up with. And corporations will of course go wherever their is money to be made, exastravating many of our problems. Oil and gas companies of course have an incentive to stagnate progress. And entertainment companies want to capitalize on tween age girls, as that's currently the most lucrative market. In reality, we should be thankful. We're experiencing a time in history where humanity is facing sociological problems it has never had to deal with in the past. And it's only thanks to the progress built on the back of centuries of civilizations that came before ours. This is what we call growing pains.

@chocopyro I agree it's growing pains. But, the thing that unpleasantly surprised me is that we growing together. Like no one could see these youth are gonna scatter shot? And, the adults mad at em like they couldn't see this coming a mile away. Lol they couldn't because they didn't go forward with there awareness because they old and don't believe in progressing. So with that logic we gonna have waves of fresh blood who gonna have to learn again and again. These youth aren't tied down to nothing that's sucky. Like we have no leaders of thought to shofar them either. Just people wanting to make a buck instead of lead them. I know somebody had to of went ahead and said damn we could fuck shit up if we don't put restrictions on ourselves because awareness is a powerful thing to have. It opens us up to all manners of new thoughts. Not all of them good. But, good is subjective or you can get to know people and not yourself. Soon these old folks will be gone and they will be unchecked that's scary because they not ready. They all over the place. I think things are actually good they get push back from the right. Cause they need to learn more. So I don't blame the right either. Shit must be spooky for a old person or hard or something idk. They hella rigid. But, that rigidness made some diamonds in them. But, it seems they being left behind because they refuse to grow and show these young folks a thing about awareness. It shows how far behind they are because they see it as there enemy. Bruh just lace up your boots and show people how to think. But, they refuse to look at a absurdity in the face for what it is. They catch all the new ones which is good since there new but won't touch the old ones. A absurdity is still a absurdity no matter how rusted in it is. I think the old folks just don't want anymore cause they know how hard they is to get rid of. They don't actually care for a goal of getting rid of all absurdities. They prolly of the camp it's been this way my whole life so why care. Atleast they doing there part at tackling the new absurdities. Only reason the left touching the absurdities because the right won't. So, now we got kids at the helm sheesh. That think they no better than everyone because adults act like they don't see absurdities so the youth ego get to there heads thinking they the only ones that can see em.
