Yeah i mean this is the argument that many fighting gun rights seem to ignore. If you take away guns nothing stops a knife attack. You cant ban knives too. The only thing that can stop someone with a knife is someone with a gun. The only way to stop someone with a gun is another someone with a gun.

ESG is something that confuses me. I understand the concept, which is basically have a bunch of investment money with an ultra low interest rate that comes with stipulations that the borrower has to comply with progressive-leftist social standards. What I don't understand is the end goal. Clearly people have rejected the progressive leftist ideals which is why we are seeing companies losing massive amounts of money. Companies such as Disney and AAA game publishers. Despite these massive losses, companies are still borrowing from the ESG investment funds. From a business standpoint, this is clearly a failed venture. So what is the end goal here? Are the investment firms trying to forcibly change the social fabric of Western society? That is what I hear they are trying to do, but since when do companies care about anything but money? I am of the opinion that this is an attempt to break up ultra massive companies into smaller companies so that the investment firms do not have to place all their eggs in one basket. If a huge business fails and you don't get you money back, that is a huge loss. If a few smaller companies fail and are unable to pay back the loan, then you take far less of a hit.

When I was in the conspiracy scene, we fact checked our own sources, because of all the interference we were getting from the CIA smokescreens and foreign intelligence entities like Russia and China (Still around, mind you) running interference and trying to rile up the disenfranchised on both sides. The scene gets hijacked by the right, critical thinking and conspiracy analysis get thrown out the window, and QAnon takes it a step further by trying to centralize it all, then fox news (Never mind that they're owned by the Murdochs, who have a long history of kissing oligarch ass) comes around and starts talking about them on national television like that ain't a controlled narrative or anything.
