Political rants

@momoichi I read a social theory from some obscure internet blog once, that men must feel empowered and women must feel validated. Perhaps it is something to consider. Could it be that men enjoy more "daring" and "dangerous" work because it requires "hard skills" and allows men the opportunity to work with their hands? Could it be that women enjoy more social oriented work because it allows them to use their "social skills" and find some sense of "belonging"? Essentially, men find work they think is fulfilling, while women find work they think is fitting. It makes sense to me, though there's nothing academic about it. Something to consider... (´・ω・`)?

My word of the day is hypocrisy XD so you say men are forced into labor intensive jobs and then in the same sentence say why should women work these jobs. Equality thats why my friend is this not why we argue about "equal" pay Im not expecting a college educated woman to work these jobs. But if ur college educated news flash so are your peers. Why are you obligated the same position they have?

@mountain_tiger i think women could get into those labor jobs if they wished, although idk how proficient they'd be, but why when they pay less? i do think biology does play a part, but just a more minute one. why I'm putting this off is the idea of having to look specifically into these niche jobs, look at the percentages, look at the pay, and hypothesis just seems boring xD but the debate it would yield seems entertaining, and feminism is something i am passionate about @hell_hound7 wow its almost as if intersectionality is a thing maybe change your word of the day to that and learn something
hell_hound7
Nah most def hypocrisy, you complain women are forced into a position that pays less. Ok cool. But when it comes to men bekng forced into labor intensive jobs that pay less like you said. Why is it ok for them to do that but women not do this. You know get those gears in your head turning fam.

bro youd think id be hypocritical if i said men and women are both oppressed by the same system in that case here, lemme put my glasses on "Intersectionality is an analytical framework for understanding how aspects of a person's social and political identities combine to create different modes of discrimination and privilege."

I am on the job site for my work and it's a speech video on "unconscious bias and insecurities" talking about how being white you may be unconsciously bias against black people or hispanics or asians. Lol

toxic masculinity is the same thing that oppresses men and women, feminism is intertwined with "meninism" in this way through intersectionality same way men can be pushed into labor intense jobs because 'big man strong give self esteem is the same system that tells women theyr natural care takers and should go into positions of work that involve interacting with people
hell_hound7
You said absolutely nothing about men before i did. So dont pull this outta no where like it was your idea all along. Your argument was women get forced into a position that pays less than men and im saying ok men get the same. There is your equality
