Neolibs don't have strict social thoughts espoused as far I am know, just as classic liberals don't. But I am pretty socially conservative, yes.

Neocons are mostly an USA-phenomena. Neocons are way more liberal economically and even socially than Paleocons. Paleoconservatism is all for trade barriers with countries and shit, which I actually do support. And socially, they are more aligned with traditional Christianity. The GOP is comprised of mostly Neocons.

Remembering Conservatism isn't the opposite of Liberalism. The political system of the USA since its beginning is of a Liberal Republic. Being Conservative is defending the current system instead of espousing revolution or reactionarism.

They mean different things in different countries, but the more you get your head out of american interpretations, the closer you are going to get to a more universal interpretation.
