Here is a work I saw in the Chicago museum of art. Jeanne d' Arc. I thought it was beautiful and would have never known about it otherwise

Never seen it myself but I wanted to see one of the Roman copies of Doryphoros, aka, the Spear Bearer statue. It represented what the Greeks saw as the ideal, achievable male physique, and represents just how far we've come since then
