Maturity represents a collective of information you have gathered throughout your life which influences your actions and thoughts. Relative to wisdom. If you learn from your mistakes, you gain maturity.

I'm running out of brain fuel so I'll keep it short then. ^_^; Maturity -> phase of being mature. What determines it ? There's a lot of factors, most of which have to do with how sensibly you react to an event based on what you've learned in your life, be it through past experiences or from others'

@rinimura The following is just an insight from the evolution side of this. A research shows that men are more likely to fall in love or get into a more superficial relationship than women because they have an infinite number of sperm. That doesn't mean that men are unfaithful — it just explains some of topics that confused some. Women also get into shallow relationships, but not as often, due to the finite number eggs we have and gives us a huge handicap for reproduction. We choose a mate that has a potential for a long-term relationship. Women are also more careful about emotions in the case of a relationship. Other factors such as mental health, beliefs, and values (and etc.) play a bit role in this case too.

@rinimura Romanticism of romance is also a big factor in this.

@swadian I believe that maturity is: Being able to make your own decisions, based on the outcome you already know will happen, from you past experience Having a direct and well planned path and commitment to something that you connect your future with Being able to accept and take into consideration the criticism of others. Of course there is more to ir than that
