A place to discuss about why your nation it's the best in the world and others suck in comparison.
Also, can be used to discuss about the effects of Nationalism and whether it should be enforced or restricted.
Personally... I think Germany has been way too stripped off their Nationalism on the past decades, extremely so...there's nothing wrong with being a little proud of being German

You can believe whatever you want. If people think that whatever shitty country they live in is less shitty then other shitty countries. Then sure whatever. I don't really care. The only reason I would care about nationalism is if they started restricting life, liberty and freedom. For example:
Many American nationalist would love a bill that protects the burning of the American flag.
Although the US constitution has some problems. It has some really good parts. One of them being the 1st amendment. Which among other things protects freedom of speech. The 1st amendment protects the burning of any flag. Right wing constitutionalist should also uphold the constitution that they so highly uphold. But will they? I am doubtful. They uphold the constitution almost like biblical scripture. But just like biblical scripture. Many right wingers mostly focus and uphold what they like.
Good thing that the supreme court case of Texas v. Johnson decided that flag burning is protected under free speech. Where majority of the court argued that," were symbolic speech, political in nature, and could be expressed even at the expense of our national symbol and to the affront of those who disagreed".
Many ultra nationalist may not like flag burning. But I'll rather live in a free society that protects free speech rather then some nationalistic ideology. I believe that flag burning should be allowable under free speech. I also believe that expressing ultra nationalism like planting a Nazi fascist flag on your front yard should be allowable under free speech.
You can believe whatever retardation that you want to believe. But do not restrict life, liberty and freedom.

This is something I agree with, most Mexicans are pretty hypocritical when it comes to Nationalism, if you tell them "would you die for your country to protect it's rights?" They will say, "fuck no, this country is a shithole"
But... And a big BUT
If a foreigner says shit about Mexico within range of Mexicans, they proudly start waving the flag, singing the national anthem and promise undying loyalty towards the nation that's something I never trully understood. Mexico needs to change a lot and the country is condemned to be a shithole until it collapses within itself, yet people refuses to see it

I would not make the assumption that most, because there are millions of Mexicans. I do not presume to know what most people think, because I don't know them all. It would be fallacious for me to think that way. I would have to see several well conducted polls to actually believe that most think that way. It is hard to say that most think a certain way. That is why I said, "Many right wingers" and not "Most right wingers". Yes many do think that way. But I cannot be absolutely certain that most think a certain way. That is why I say many. Many Mexicans are as you describe.

Yup( ̄ヘ ̄;)
I let my emotions describe my statement a bit instead of my logic, correct. A good number of them, but not all of them
If a serious study was made on this though, I would say at least 60% of the populace above 18 would fit the criteria though, of course theres no truthful way to know this... Just from what I've personally seen from interacting with lots of folks
