Getting a coved test

So I talked to a nurse today and was told to stay home and not go to work. The last 24 hours for me has been crappy. I can’t ever catch my breath and even the most menial of tasks wear me out. I just got done doing one of those drive through covid tests. Has anyone done them yet? Super uncomfortable nasal swab

Yep, I am immune to it. Had both the live test and the antibody test. Antibodies showed up, but the live test was negative. The nasal swab is rather unpleasant.

@draig I can try that. So far it feels like my lungs are always at 70% so it’s not unbearable, but it just doesn’t go away. At least it doesn’t seem to be getting any worse and I don’t have a fever.

@alihawk for me, I first called the doctors office to set up an appointment, listed my symptoms, and then I was transferred to a woman in charge of civic testing sites and I set up a drive in appointment through her. I had to fill out some info online. All you need is your drivers license and insurance card.

I’m gonna be a little bit pissed if I test positive. I haven’t gotten a fever yet. It wouldn’t be the first time my immune system is out derping around when my body is under attack. I’m hoping it is just some sort of weird physical anxiety related thing
