@hell_hound7 Most electric car's patents are owned by manufacturers that benefit from selling gas based vehicles. Many gas stations are also controlled heavily by oil companies. So it isn't that electric or water powered vehicles can't be more efficient, it is because oil companies want to protect their market from green energy competition.

How exactly will you be able to instacharge your vehicle to full capacity. You gonna just send a surge of volts into a vehicle and expect everyday citizens to not fuck things up and kill themselves in the process. Also where are we getting the energy to power this kind of power?

Sounds like you're reading fud. tesla super chargers take 20 mins at most for 300 miles on average. And solid state batteries will dunk on Li-ion hard. Most electric cars also use regenerative breaking too.

Ehh.. base model 3 tesla is $32k-ish.. not too bad i guess. Long range is around $45k and performance is $55k. leafs and prius's are cringe. Im looking to get a performance model 3 in the next year or so.

i saw two tesla's while walking to the store, oregon is a place you wouldnt need one. in a big city where there is lots of traffic is a good use for them. dont you need a power wall and solar roof to charge it. thats like the price of buying another tesla. but you get one ugly car when you could buy six cool ones lol.

you can charge them on standard 120V or a 2 phase line. Also ive never seen a "cool" car for under 10k lol.. Model 3 isnt bad looking. I wish i could get a roadster but thats out of my budget.
