Love's Journey

Our story begins with a young man named Love. He was a dashingly handsome fellow with features that made him appealing to all that had sight. Given average wits, his mind could be quite clever at times. Still, Love lacked one asset that others appeared to posses. A life partner to share his namesake! Love often wondered why it was this way. Despite his kindness and compassion he could not find a person willing to commit themselves to his company. Was it a failing to provide a necessity or was the opposite true? Could no one match the grand ocean of deep devotion Love could offer? Sitting alone at a bookstore's cafe, the 20 something focused his attention on reading a romance novel for a revelation!

Time moved slow within the trappings of the shoppe. Minute hand moving a single tick per hour of the world outside, Love was lost in thoughts. Turning the page, he felt someone's eyes upon him from a distance.
