My favorite anime is Naruto and my favorite character is well uhh Naruto because I grew up watching him. I was 13 watching Naruto and he was 13 in the show. When Shippuden came, I was 16 and he was 16. It felt like I grew up alongside Naruto. Seeing him as an older man with a family makes me feel weird now. I have had similiar troubles of loneliness like Naruto faced so I connected more to his character. I still struggle with it time to time, but it has went away more often. ^^

My favorite anime character would be Undertaker of Black Butler. https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/kuroshitsuji/images/f/fb/BotA_Eyes_revealed.png However my favorite manga character is Staz Charlie Blood from Blood Lad! https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/blood-lad/images/e/ee/Stazbanner.png Both have layers to their character ranging from offbeat comical to deadly serious. They have goals and ambitions, however how they approach it is refreshing from the typical humdrum of played out cliches. Their love of those they wish to protect makes them endearing. Their use of powers/abilities is interesting too.
