She had the option to be taken against her will by the police and be fined $5000 or be taken by the appropriate vehicle and dodge the fine. She was quarantined for 14 days. What’s happening?” They said, “no, you’re getting taken away. And you have no choice. You’re going to Howard Springs. You either come with us now, and we’ll put you in the back of the divvy van. Or you can have a choice to get a ‘COVID cab’… I just said, “I don’t consent to this. I don’t understand why I can’t just self-isolate at home, like a lot of other people are doing.” And they just said, “we’ve just been told from higher up where to take you. And that’s all that there is.” She was ordered to pack a bag and was told that she could be released once she tested negative. Collected in the back of a rented van, she was then transported to Howard Springs. On arrival, she was told that she would have to stay there for the full 14 days

So she didn't have Covid, but of course they aren't going to reimburse her for the costs I'm sure. Stick her with the bills after getting it wrong. I am glad to be an American.

I agree the virus has been out long enough we've got a pretty good handle on what it can do. It's been 2 years and I've been exposed everyday to people by the hundreds. To this day I have never gotten Covid and I've been tested constantly by my company. Some others did, however either my body just is really good at rejecting the virus or Corona-chan is the one rejecting me. Probably the latter.

I am sick of something and it isn't Corona! My work has sent me multiple notifications that we are required to wear masks despite being vaccinated. We were already required to wear masks. Why make two separate mandatory rulings? Why bother playing hot potato with the responsibility of how the company inforces this mandate? In any matter, as much as I am a supporter of vaccination, I say simply give it up. Been 2 years of research and supposedly the best scientific studies have found it to be on par with Sars. It's deadly to some people, but not most. I'm sorry to say, but America's involvement with the virus is nothing short of shady. Like if the virus was the threat they make it out to be then why is half of American businesses still operating? Why is it ok for HALF the country to be exposed by not others? Why is McDonald's considered essential? Why are wearhouses that sell non-essential items? The fact that my parents are both elderly and have to go to work dealing with the public should say something. My mother has breathing problems. Her health is qualified to be a person at risk. 2 years have passed and she's not contracted the virus once. Neither has my dad. Neither have I. 2 years touching and being in contact with 1,000's of people. Many without masks. So I have concluded that indeed Dr. Fauci is full of shit. The virus is real, but the people benefiting from the man made hysteria are fake. The American government needs to quickly deescalate their fear mongering. Make vaccines available, but don't force the issue. Don't give some businesses full control of the market and take cuts of the profits. I hold Republican and Democrats equally accountable for the mess we're in. The solution is to let people and small businesses get back to normal and chill the fuck out.

At this point I'm flat out upset that I'm going to be paying for this nonsense in the coming years. I was mostly onboard with vaccines at first. Feels like they're just funding the cash cow for as long as they can get away with at this point.
