Everybody has a standard or two in a relationship that they will never sacrifice.
Has anyone had relationship standards that tore the relationship up because the other person didn't approve of it? Was it seen as worth ending the relationship to keep said standard, and why?
Mine was I want a boyfriend who doesn't live off of another. I don't regret standing by my standard. I believe it's very important that your significant other is independent and takes up their own life the best they can. Bills and all, instead of clinging onto another and letting them pay for their living.

I don't compromise on myself, my goals, or on trying to get ahead in my life. And now is about to be a particularly busy time. While I'm doing that, I'm kind of avoiding dating altogether. With how busy things are about to be my partner wouldn't see me much anyway.

You get the whole Max package under a few conditions: Be honest and open with me, be happy about me spoiling you, and never betray me in any way.

For real though? I would never love selfish haggler who always looks for the better part of the deal. Self serving people are always the people I'm at odds with in life and they sure as hell hate me pretty quickly too because I don't appease them.

Most of my standards are weight based and mental health based.
I broke it off with a girlfriend because she refused to take care of herself, she had agreed to lose weight because she was at risk of becoming diabetic, she kept talking about all the calories she burnt and how little she ate but she only got fatter and fatter, I thought it was a medical condition but no, she was actually doing nothing and just lying about it.
Health is important!!
