I don't think he was that cut and dry with it, because he elaborated on the type of people he's talking about right after that. It would be a different story if he just said that and left it at that. But he then went on to describe the type of behavior that the generic "nice guy" does, which is in fact problematic. And we all know anyone who has to refer to themselves that way more than likely is not what they claim to be. I have never seen legitmately nice guys refer to themselves that way, even before those whole incel/nice guy shit became discourse in the mainstream. :u

I've got friends who say they're good people and ARE good people.
