Opinions on tattoos?

I'm not sure if this is something that's ever been discussed on here but I was curious as to what people's views are on tattoos and if you have one / ever considered having any or do you consider them taboo? I personally have nothing against people with tattoos and I respect that it's their decision to do what they want with their bodies but I wouldn't go full out and ink my body but that's only because I lack a lot of self confidence at times. I am however considering getting something concealable done soon to express myself which is the only reason I ask what others think about them and I wanted to see why a lot of people have tattoos themselves. No flaming or discriminating based on others beliefs or opinions please, I just want to understand what everyone thinks of them. \[T]/

I assume when you say to many you mean like basically head to toe? Lol. Yeah I'm the same, I guess some people don't mind it , my mum is covered in quite a lot of tattoos and she says she enjoys the pain that comes with it which is what makes me curious about having one, I guess it's an adrenaline to some people Max I'd probably get would be 3/4 maybe 5 but nothing more. And they would have to be in areas of the body which are covered by clothes so like on the back and leg and arm
