I've made a few really good friends on this site, but I've also hit my fair share of duds. From what I've observed, many girls that check the site out get scared off pretty fast by creeps.
I've also learned not to EVER take part in any discussion on the site that pertains to politics or religion. Period. Regardless of what is being discussed.
Though I'm not a talkative and responsive person<it totally depends on timing>, I have made a couple of good buddies on this website~꒰✩’ω`ૢ✩꒱~I can get along with all, but I cannot get familiar with all~That doesn't matter. My getting recognized by people who rarely connect with others assured me that I'm not a bad and worthless person.
I've been on this site for 6 (going onto 7 now) years, and to be honest my experience has been great, even though there have been some bad moments, the good outweighs the bad. Met many people over the years and made many friends and my gf as well. Some of those friendships will last for a lifetime and I'm happy they're in my life. I've learned alot from my time here too, since I've lived somewhat of a sheltered life which I am now breaking out of. I appreciate being part of the Community, and I deeply appreciate all the friends I've made and will make during my time here. It's been amazing and I'm glad my curiosity brought me here because I dont know how my life would've been if I never came across or joined this site. For that, I will always be grateful.
*I'll probably add more to it, but for now this is fine
I've been around for a few months, but only online about once a week (if that lol). To be honest this site isn't very appealing ^_^' Every now and then I'll catch someone online and we'll have a real conversation or joke around. They're pretty few and far between, but I guess it's been enough to keep me poking in from time to time. Most guys who approach me just want to talk cute but at the end of the day they're basically just strangers. Before I learned how to switch chat from public to "friends only" it was a fucking nightmare though lol. Now at least I have some control and can filter out a lot of the uncomfortable situations I was having. And of course, the lack of other females here is pretty intimidating (I mean seriously, where are they?? I've only seen like 3 other girls in the forums since I've been here). The topics in forums don't really interest me... just the same shit over and over again lol. I guess I could always start some of my own but meh... Maybe there's more this site has to offer but like I'm not seeing it...
Be as specific or vague as you feel comfortable. I'm just curious as to how my experience has differed from others.
before mai iv looked for other otaku social media sites and found none, which really left me discouraged, so im really grateful for this one
