its not a baby, its a zigot
its just a bundle of dividing cells in a petri dish
but what about the fact that the cells in the petri dish cant feel pain and don't even know its alive, while the woman can feel pain and wants to live
you still choose the object that has no wants, desires, or feelings? that's just a bundle of cells that are becoming human, but are not yet a human, over a living, breathing, feeling human?

You can call a dead person's body a corpse but hold funerals to celebrate their life.

terminology in these cases are important because baby is very emotionally loaded word
alright, that's all i wanted to know :P Id choose the woman because she actually wants to live and can feel fear and pain, while the zygote has no emotions or feelings
we can end this debate with that, but i would ask you to answer the drunk driver hypothetical before we end it, because you never gave me a concrete answer
just a yes or no whether its moral or not to force a human to become another humans live for 9 months, knowing it will cause them discomfort and possibly death in the end because they got behind the wheel while drunk?

If a woman can't use her own legs to run out of a burning building:

Yeah it's moral. There should be no greater honor than saving another person's life

Also aren't dems supposed to be connected to their emotions? Then why do you treat a baby in the womb as if it's not alive? It has a heart and lungs forming and a brain. Are we that disconnected as a society from our feelings that we sooner kill children for the hell of it and call it moral.

If we are using your example then yes I argue it is moral. If you make a mess, you will clean it up. You damage another person's liver, you will fix it. If this is the way it needs to be done, then it shall be done.

@dyadka_yar do you not think that it oversteps ones bodily autonomy? your comfortable with the courts deciding what happens to your own body?
