How to get to know some of you?

I am still rather new to this site and it seems there is a decent amount of activity. However, I have been wondering how and if you get to chat with fellow weebs here? I would like to get to know some people is all.

Personal basis: Shit post and swap memes, funny gifs, and cute animal pics to break the ice. This gives you an idea of what sort of sense of humor people here have, and if you see something, like a scene from an anime you like, you can open real dialogue from there. Community basis: Talk and discuss things in the forums. Ask questions, start topics (Like this one), and just gradually get to know them over time. Eventually you pick up things like who you jive well with, what sorts of beliefs and backgrounds they stem from, what kind of world views they hold, and all that stuff. It takes time, but as we see and interact with you more often and learn what you're all about, you may find us approaching you with the intent to know more and stuff.

Also, you may send friend requests to male users and taken users who are active in shitposting! This is a community where active members are friends/acquaintances with other active members, their insights and knowledge may help filter shitty people out.
