Spaying/Neutering your pets

^^ I want to add that I totally agree with declawing being cruel. You try ripping off your nails and see how you like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Always adopt, take in strays. There is no reason for breeders at this point. Yes to Spaying/Neutering, my family has had plenty of cats, going through that, never again. Declawing, fuck no. That is going too far, my cats have always been, inside/outside cats. They come and go as they please. If they were declawed they would never have freedom because I wouldn't be able to let them go without being able to defend themselves properly.

@ratqueen its not ripping off your nails, its going into the finger and taking out the joints of your finger the problem is vets dont like to tell their clients about how cruel, traumatic, and invasive the surgery really is i dont so much blame people who do it when they dont know what the surgery really entails vets try and downplay it but you should always do your own research when it comes to your animals on the adopt dont shop note, ill admit im tempted to buy some cute animals that are hard to find in shelters (i.e scottish fold cats) but for the most part adoption is 100% the way to go and if you dont need an animal, stop by the shelters anyways and donate time, food, bedding, old blankets and towels they dont work in shelters for a profit, and they will take just about anything

yass i have to disagree with you on the domestication aspect some animals just do not take to it its late at night so ill probz add more animals, but chameleons are animals that should not be pets theyr extremely difficult pets for one they are constantly stressed to the point that if they get sick they will most likely not recover theyr diet is very specific and they are extremely territorial some animals just do not enjoy the presents of humans and shouldnt be treated as pets quality over quantity a good life is better than a long life we have a cat named tiger, who is blind and we let him outside hes not my cat and i dont have a say, but no doubt he is so happy when hes outside he leaps and bounds and runs and chances, like he can actually see, its adorable inside hes more skittish and only enjoys being petted if hes sitting and laying outside hes a different cat luckily hes a big, smart cat and hasnt gotten any trouble, but hes just such a different cat outside and then theres the issue of never taking an animal from the wild and trying to make it a pet like a frog or something from outside it will never work they dont understand what its like to be a pet and live inside like an animal born as a pet and will be extremely stressed just dont do it

ANOTHER ANIMAL TIP *loves talking about animals* if you see a baby bird on the ground, try and put it back in the nest, the mother will not reject the baby because of your scent, thats a myth if you see a mama rabbit bury its baby, it hasnt abandoned it, thats just how mama rabbits keep their kids safe while theyr gone if you find a wounded or an actually abandoned animal, dont try and take care of it yourself, this can actually be illegal in some states, instead call your local wild life center and professionals will take it and give it care

I'm kinda ok with it. Spaying and neutering your pets helps them to have a long happy life and helps preventing a few certain animal diseases and cancers. ^w^ However, as for females animals they should at least given a chance for birth once or twice, before spaying them. I recommend it, because their chance of motherhood helps them to mellow and calm down. :3

@fancy, actually our cat nuala got pregnant twice, and afterwards shes been very licky and motherly even after her kittens are gone, which is cute but i have to disagree about letting female animals have a litter, and most small mammals like cats have litters of 4 or 6, which is alot of animals and then those animals all need proper homes they will mellow and calm if theyr spayed my cat max is a female, but when she met kittens she was terrified of them xD 0 motherly instinct just booped them on the head if they got too close

I agree that they still act motherly afterwards. What I meant their mellowness, after they give birth is that they don't act too wild and rowdy like when they were kittens. Also, I know that they have at least a few litters, but that's why I said at least letting them try at least 1 or 2 times and nothing more. Plus, I can't really stop them from their animal instincts to mate, when they are in heat. I can delay it, but eventually they find sneakier ways to escape outside and once they do, then they will come back in a few days and you know that they are possibly pregnant. It happen to every one of my female cats that I had in my life and I think that the newest of my cats got pregnant, because of that, recently. I can't stop them. They are out of control. XD
