I'm very happy that smothering tithe is now 45$ I wish it would grow more in price , so I could sell it and buy my winota deck

@foo_fighter Woah, I didn't know it was even that expensive of a card. I need to go through mine and see if I have one. Maybe Arc has one and I just thought I had one. Oo

I usually buy decks on one go, instead of buying booster packs. But I rarely buy cards since I'm broke. Wanting to build a winota deck tho, lucky that some of my old cards have increased in price, triumph of the hordes is now 20$ each and Liliana's caress is 10$ each. I might just be able to buy my winota deck

Anybody noticed how much magic card prices have skyrocketed? I've made about 500 bucks in accumulated value in cards I bought over the last year. I don't remember card prices skyrocketing like they have been.

@arc wouldn't it depend on when the card was manufactured? I was planning on selling most of my cards except for my decks.

@projectotakux Not in all cases. The cards I have that increased in value the most were the limited print kaladesh platinum angel, as well as cards that spiked in value right after a popular commander card came out, or a youtube video listing perfect combo cards. Cards that cost me less than 15 bucks on ebay didn't really spike much, but the cards that cost me 15-50 dollars spiked in value. Basically key mythic rare cards that a lot of commander decks use. I'd say the combo-able cards have spiked the most in value as well as expensive planeswalkers from older sets.
