conservatives love to say that freedom of speech is so important but then bitch and cry when a football player takes a knee, or when people protest peacefully these people that talk about 'freedom of speech is under attack uwu!' are just mad they cant say the n word without being banned

People get so bent up about who voted republican and who voted democrat, when in reality it doesn't matter. Should the sheep care about who herds them? People are so blissfully ignorant about the extent they are being controlled and exploited. Newt Gingrich bastardized congress in the 90s by making it a blood-sport between party lines on who can raise the most funds to keep their power and seats. Lobbyists and special interest groups sit above it all on their cooperate thrones, and us sheep only vote for who gets to be first in line to lick their dirty boots. Trump said he would drain the swamp and yet he couldn't do a damn thing about it. Congress is the same as it always was. The house speaker is the core of the rot that congress has become, but guess what? The public can't do a damn thing about who gets selected for house speaker because the congress chooses. And here we are, trapped in an endless loop of corruption and greed.
