Vent

I hate when you are talking to someone or saying something and they just blurt out "who cares" or "who asked?". Conversations naturally divert and you WILL have to talk about something you aren't 100 percent interested in at some point in your life, it is something you have to learn to deal with. I just can't stand when people say those things because those are the same assholes who go on and on and on about whatever the hell they want and demand to be listened to but the second you talk it's "who cares". Being respectful isn't hard. And if someone ends up venting or saying something "random" that you "don't care about" that was probably on their mind all day and they needed to say it. I think one of the reasons I am always afraid to talk is because as a kid my male family members would always say "who cares?" or "did I ask you to speak" and shit like that yet blab on about football for hours. Talk AND listen, how hard is it to understand? I can't respect people who lack basic empathy. Making someone feel heard and understood is a powerful thing in life.
