Advice? Like, swallow and don't spit or...?XD Kind of hard to give advice, when there's no specific question involved. My advice to those wanting to interact with either sex, act like you're human and treat them like they're human.

What? It's called manners. Let me guess, you chew with your mouth open and leave doors open like you were raised in a barn? Filthy uncouth degenerate animal...

Actually that's a pet peeve of mine. I do have manners so I'm covered on that thank you. I guess I'm just asking for any advice that isn't the basics. More like what to do, what not to do. Ex: Don't expect a guy to pause during an online game. (BTW I know you can't pause online)

I understood what you were getting at and that's why I said to just treat people like people. Do you question how to talk to friends? Same difference, unless you're only looking for the physical aspects and that would just makes it that much simpler. There are no guidelines, every individual is just that, an individual. Hence is why it's a very vague question, everyone will have their own opinion as to what exactly they'd like.
Also, I was joking, thank you. ;P
Back on track...
Can't answer your question. What my wife does that works for me, may not work for others. I'd just say the basics of being funny, being able to take a joke, be caring, don't be a push over, be able to socialize at least a little, but most importantly be what makes you happy, even if it means you have to find someone who is happy with you.
Edit:
Seeing as you're steering towards relationship talk and you're new to that scene, here's a tip:
Don't expect perfection, don't expect a prince or to be treated like a princess, do communicate (and expect it in return), do expect a happy balance, do expect arguments, do expect arguments to be worked out in an adult manner, do expect to be cared about (and care for) and most importantly expect a friend and to be a friend.
For me, I married my best friend and I intend to ensure that to remain so. She may be my lover, but without being my friend first and foremost, we would have no relationship. I think people get tripped up to much by over thinking instead of just being a friend and then figuring the rest out.

Long time? I was born before you and also know how to call a spade a spade. I find it very hard to believe that amongst your "long time worldly travels", that you've not made a single friend. If you can talk offline like you do here, you're already ahead of the game.
Also, if nothing is working, look into what it is that you may need to change to make it work. You can't blame the world for your failures, blunt, but true. It'd be nice if life had an easy mode. Really, I doubt I could give any advice other than common sense and even there I'm severely lacking.XD

Yaasshat First I know you were joking xD I was being sarcastic but of course that doesn't come out well in writing.
I get everyone is different. I just wanna hear all their takes on things. So thank you for sharing your opinion :)
Aww I'm jealous. Congratulations on a beautiful relationship!

Have a look around and visit some of the user's profiles. I usually read user's profiles to see if they are interesting enough to have a conversation with and perhaps could befriend. Realistically, be yourself. I know this has been said plenty of times but that is how you find the right crowd for you. Also, clear your mind from negative thoughts as much you can. Many people don't like those who are depressed all the time. That's how you don't attract people at most times.
