Being a kiss-ass to upper management doesn't award you automatically let you cut in line to get a team lead position. If I was decided to be the one to take over management rolls, you need to step back and stop trying to find a counter-argument to everything I say. Man, sometimes power hungry workaholics piss me off.

Dude im gonna get in trouble, and its not even my fault. Best case scenario they kick my ass out of having to do this job. Worst case scenario i get yelled at because they screwed up.

Yeah like wtf, so for them neglecting to train you when something goes bad on your end they can just put all the blame on you and have no kind of repercussions. That's total shit.
