Why Did You Join MaiOtaku?

I came on here cause I want to find people who like the same things I do and to hopefully find someone that I can date as I don't have luck when it comes to people.

i like anime and "friends" irl watch only DBZ .... , so why not make friends with similar interest and maybe a wider range of anime knowledge :) + im pretty awkward around girls that i freaking hate it :(...

A friend told me about this sight and how it was kind of a dating sight and how it could get me back into anime. So, two birds with one stone type of situation I would say.

I wanted to find a dating site not based around sex, that has real people, who'd be ok with long distance relationships. Anime is just a plus uwu

Basically, to make friends and get to know a lot of people, and maybe hang out. Yet, that ain't happen since I been a member, more like years ago. So, yep.

Honestly? Because a dude I had a crush on, who had been flirting with me for months, apparently had a girlfriend. I was bitter and angry and wanted to find new people to pine over XD I'm over that now though, so don't worry about it.

To find someone special is the reason I joined. So far I've only made friends who actually listen to my weird feelings and problems with life. (which im really grateful for) (already made a comment, but i think i changed my mind a little bit)

I came here because I want to find someone I can date. People actually call me a loner and tie me to that of a school shooter. Also am a loner, well more introverted. The cause of it was self-harm and 2.5 years of being ostracized, and I don't really have anyone I can love since no-one wants a relationship with me at school.. Kinda wanting to find someone who'll love me back, at least then I'll be filled with some-type of happiness. ♣It's like "I don't care if it's distance I'll meet you one day."♣ ♦Any interested girl message me.♦

Truthfully, meet new people (even though half the time people assume I'm some kinda meat head by my looks.) So I wanted to try and get to know some people that like anime as much as me

Originally when I joined almost 4 years ago, I was looking for both friends (don't have any) and a romantic relationship (surprisingly got this, thank you maiotaku for existing, you beautiful b@$t@rd) with people with common interest. Now I occasionally come back hoping to fulfill the first wish. >_<
