Why Did You Join MaiOtaku?

At first it was out of depression and I was having a bad time with another but after a few months of soul searching and healing, I found my sweetheart which was my intent of joining this site.

I had just finished watching Junjou Romantica, which I thought was hot, and was trying to find like minded persons (who love anime) to discuss why Junjou got a pass. Specifically it was written by a woman but about male on male relationships, highly sexualized, yet thinking of some male on female or female on female of the same grade and caliber is impossible. Seemed like all those things made in Japan were either straight up Hentai or desexualized to the point they made romantic animes for 12 year olds. I started reading the forums, posting a lot, talked to folks, argued with others, met Arc, now live with Arc. etc etc etc

To try and make a compatible relationship with someone who has similar interest to mine. And if I can't find that then at least make some new friends with similar interest to mine.

You know Ms. Teacup, there is in fact a forum on here with a thread I've created for discussing anime that would like your attention.

I like anime and like people, so I decided to join looking for a relationship! Haven't found one yet , but that won't discourage me!
