When you think life is hard, just remember there is a turtle out there on its back and can't flip over. It doesn't help your situation but it's a thought.

I should have called off work today and just depression napped all day. I have the pto days but my dumb self feels like I'm letting someone down if I do that when no one really cares.

@cac A lot of people are like that but what happens at the end of the year, if your company has a "use them or lose them" policy, everyone tends to take off at the same time around the holidays. Creates some drama but nobody bats an eye at people who take off at other times of the year.

My company luckily let's us roll over a certain number of days every year. So I just have to use up so many this year and not worry about the rest.

@skeygeta It's nice and all to see a showing of humanity in the animal kingdom, but why is no one speaking out about the callous nature of the man behind the camera who was more capable of assisting the turtle yet chose willingly to let nature take over the compassionate role exclusive to only humans? That absolute animal is not worthy of being called a man!
