@silver I realize the points that Naomi brings up that are correct. I do, and have acknowledged them and several other people here have as well. I know the things about myself I need to improve. I was simply asking other people's thoughts on my situation so I could get some other perspectives. But as you said, hostility is not the way to approach things. and if Naomi can't be civil, I for one will simply dismiss her and focus my attentions elsewhere. but if she ever manages to tone that hatred down a notch I'd be happy to discuss things In a calm, rational manner as is best for this and most other topics.

I'm not saying you don't, I was simply point out that some people cannot help somethings that happen to them. A close friend of mine is almost thirty and just got their drivers license for the first time. It wasn't entirely their fault due to a lot of issues growing up with their family. I'm simply saying that if you want to change, you can do it. If the desire is not there, then everything will stay the same. If you want your life to change you have to take control of it, not complain about how your life sucks or harass people on how their complaining or just simply reaching out for a hand. I do agree with Naomi to an extent that sometimes people tend to complain about whats going on around them but do nothing to change it. I don't feel like you're that kind of person just from what you've discussed honestly. Nonetheless, in the end you can only control you and not anything else and you should always strive to do better for yourself, even when times get bad you have to always try to find your way forward, and that does mean reaching for a hand now and then.

I appreciate your supportive words. I do desire to improve my life, and I am putting in the effort. so hopefully things will go well for me. Just trying to keep morale up in the meantime ^_^

Poor animekirk, he just wanted some advice and this thread ending up being derailed and a lot of ranting and angry people. Beating a dead horse comes to mind. I get calling people out if they are acting like a douche or being disrespectful but fuck me this went beyond it. Let people do what ever makes them happy and stop being disrespectful. Why can't people put their opinions across without being immature and rude. Idk maybe I'm just expecting to much of people.
