I don't know if this is the right section to ask this if not please fix it and before you ask me why am i nervous if i ever do become nervous this is why if a fellow gamer or a fellow otaku ever wants to come to my room or wants to hang out with me & if he or she is a friend or good friend of mine i admit I'm a bit nervous. Because when for now at the moment so far is well that my collection so far at the moment is small/pretty small compare you regular otaku if you want to compare my collection to you regular otaku or if she wants to date me & if she wants to come my room i admit that I'm might get a bit nervous because. Like i said when for now at the moment so far is well that my collection so far at the moment is small/pretty small compare you regular otaku if you want to compare my collection to you regular otaku but however i still considered myself a otaku anyway so I'm asking both for tips and advice. So the question is How to overcome my nervousness of hanging out with fellow otaku like myself if i ever do become nervous? & before you ask me no my family & my friends either don't know I'm a otaku or don't know how much of a otaku i really am thanks for reading, thanks for your understanding and thanks for your tips & advice & don't worry i do buy my stuff whenever i can & if i choose to & before you ask i do buy my stuff in public even though i buy my stuff both in public & online :).

Dude, if people are making you feel bad about the size of your anime collection, then they're not worth being friends with. It doesn't matter how much you have and it doesn't matter how much they have. If you think of yourself as an anime fan or a gamer, then that's all you need. While external validation is meaningful, it's not in this context. Honestly, people who are all elitist over things like this need to get a life.
