Failing at Relationships

Well always being yourself does help! Relationships and even talking to people take practice over time you'll learn the best way to do things. Also remember that not every relationship is meant to work out. I also really hate to throw this out there cause it sounds super conceited but the more you love yourself the better it is, because that causes a higher self esteem and more confidence (there is a limit on this though). Self esteem and confidence tend to help relationships. As they were saying there is nothing wrong with being single either. While being single you can get to know yourself and better yourself without trying to change based on who you are interested in.

Be honest. Be patient. Be yourself. If someone loves you for who you are then that's going to be the strongest type of relationship, and definitely the most fulfilling. This next part of my comment is an assumption so it might not pertain to you but... I know it's hard to wait, and it sucks watching the wrong people get chances with someone you have feelings for but sadly relationships are a live, and learn experience. It will happen for you. Just be patient. You seem like a great guy based on your info. Keep being direct. If they misunderstand you then that's their loss.

@Kitty I know what you mean. My ex had low self-esteem and it caused problems almost every time we talked. Just need to accept the dang compliment for once. >.> @Naomi Part of me wants to list reasons on how it would be really good to have a yandere type person irl just cause. But since I don't care for those types, I won't bother. And also because I don't fit what you just described either. XD

@hoodedfang I mean it is true, people are also naturally attracted to those who are confident. This also cause trust issues, jealousy, and sometimes just other problems.

@Kitty Yup. That's what happened with my ex half the time. She seems to do t even more with her current boyfriend as well. @Naomi That's cool. Now we can go back and forth on that until we run out of ideas in private, since I'm slowly wanting to list reasons out of spite. Whether or not there will be any actual sense to them. And yes, I'm referring to the creepy weeb thing. I'm not a weeb, otaku, or even an "anime fan" since I don't fall into any of those from what I've been told. Though I will use anime/manga scenes that I know of to compare some things if I was explaining something. And wouldn't the reason of trying to find another weeb or something anyway be because they are one and don't want a "normal" person? Honestly, "normal" is a very vague term to me at times. Normal in one area isn't normal in another. For explain, I live in West Virginia. It's a mountain state. Everyone here is basically into country like stuff, like farming, hunting, muddying (FYI muddying is taking a big tuck to drive through a LOT of mud), etc. Aside from being into video games and anime, I have no want or desire to date anyone from this state because I'm not one for any of what "normal" people do here. Now that won't stop me from finding someone interesting if I do. But still, I have no wants towards anyone in this state. So trying to find someone "normal" would depend on what's "normal" in the place you're looking. Weebs are normal at cons at times. Though dating a weeb when you're not one is quite annoying when you talk about anime and start arguing over the kind you watch.

I'm horribly socially awkward and derpy so being myself isn't going to work ;p Though I haven't turned desperate or have any interest or complained about it.
