Anyone here actually interested in a relationship?

I'm hopeful for romance but friends are nice too. I've had some previously bad relationships so I was hoping to find a nice girl on here that would be nice, honest, and respectful. I hope my age isn't a factor since people tell me all the time I've always acted older and I've always wanted to be older. :)

I mean I wouldn't mind, but I know its unlikely. I am a shy person who hates starting conversations and I have to take time to warm up to someone before I get comfortable. And it would require someone with the same/worse sense of humor than me so I wouldn't offend said person or have to be really careful when I talk to someone that its just a pain..

Of course I am! Although I don't actually expect to find someone on this site. I like to think positive, but still expect the worst out of life. I have been disappointed so many times, yet life still manages to do that from time to time to me. Also, I suck at dating and don't even know where to start. For fun, it's fun to hang out here from time to time.

Does it have to be a romantic relationship? I have an interest in finding someone I can consider important. A friendship that grows into more than just pals and into something special and lasting.
