What would you do if you had superpowers?

Hello! If you received superpowers one day what would you do? Would you continue living a normal life and hide your powers? Would you try to become a superhero? Would you try to become a supervillain? Would you live a normal life but occasionally use your powers for good? Would you live a normal life and occasionally use your powers for yourself? What would you do?

There are other things, but I don't feel like going into detail. In short, I would have fun. A lot of fun. Too much fun for one person to have possibly. XD

@hoodedfang dido that... I'd play at being a super hero immediately followed by having way too much fun. Until I eventually was either forced into hiding my powers and living a semi-normal life, or forced to become a super villain by people jealous of my awesomeness (the government most likely).

As someone who's had many conversations about this, I actually would try to live a normal life, use my powers for myself, and occasionally (Or inevitably given my values and personality) use it for each other. I don't think I'd try to be heroic, but I can see myself rising up to take down someone who is abusing their powers by negatively impacting and bringing harm to others. Sure, there may be some sense of justice in it and duty in it, especially if I'm the only guy who could do anything, but it would mostly be more of a "Hey pal, quit ruining it for the rest of us." I wouldn't want anyone to really know I had them, besides others I really trust. Trust me, that attention isn't worth it, whether positive or negative. Thats why, and I know its cliche, but I would certainly have to disguise myself if I was forced to do some hero-ing. The secret identity thing really does have a practical purpose. I don't wanna get shot at, just because I happened to jump to someone's rescue one day and punched out a mob boss. >_< By the way, I don't regard mild psionics as a super power, so I don't care if people know about that stuff.

If I could fly then I'd binge on that until I get bored, honestly I'm not sure that I'd take advantage of any other super power, problem is with trying to do good you can't really prevent crime, as it's not a crime until people commit it, and by the time the public hear about it (via news or social media) it's already long after the crime has taken place, thus it's too late to prevent it. I'd probably try to keep my powers to myself and just help out my family / friends.
