Twisting and turning with bedsheets upon the ground
The night is still, with no disturbance or sound
A hoo of the owl, a rustle of the trees
Darkness for as far as the eye sees
And yet, despite everything else being asleep
I lie awake, trying to count sheep
My eyes are shut tight and my breathing is steady
But the weight of falling asleep just feels so heavy
I try listening to music, try curling my toes
Try changing positions, try breathing out of my nose
An hour passes, and I start to see
None of these things are working for me
So I lie on my back and stare at the wall
As my chest slowly rises, then starts to fall
The lack of sleep, its turning me in to a maniac
But that's just the suffering of an insomniac

This so applies to what happened to me last night! Two hours of sleep.
I would add two of my own lines:
And then the time comes
I finally fall asleep
1 hour passes
and now I have to pee

That happens to me all the time! Or when you're finally dozing off, half asleep, and then you have to see.
