Your thoughts on friends with benefits?

eh depends on the hearts of the 2 people. Had a few in my younger days. Still friends with them (though they're both married now) without the benefits currently.

I've been thinking about it a bit, and I think that "sex" is an animalistic thing in general. Being of the Animal Kingdom, sexually active humans can participate in that act....I think FWB and one night stands are a manifestation of that. Face it, you're just really horny. I think that sexual desire and attraction between two people in a romantic and/or caring relationship is much more than that. It's wanting to be physically, mentally, and emotionally close to that person. Hell, I'm never horny, but I'll gladly have sex as many times as my boyfriend wants if it means I can be that close to him. While we haven't said we're in love, moments like that sure make it feel like we are. So why share that feeling with just a friend? I think I'd rather share it with someone who will continue to act on his feelings outside of the bedroom. Anyway, that's my two-cents.

I don't think I am either, but I'm still young and life is unpredictable. For now I just want to be with Boyfriend and continue to have fun with him. c:

Do you want to have sex with your BF Mop? or just do it cuz he wants to? (kinda interested, you don't have to answer) FWB is something that will almost always go bad. One will develop feelings are the other. I have tried to be FWB, but it always ended with something more, or one of us getting hurt. It's like an excuse for a couple to have sex early on in the relationship. Now, if we are talking FWB without sexual touching (IE cuddle and BFF relationship) that works out.

In my late teens and early twenties i was often passed around the circle of girlfriends once i had been picked up by one of them, I've never really found much understanding for the pairing up in a young age idea... then when are you supposed to have fun with whoever you want? Anyway, Being a boy toy, and thusly having FWB in changing groups and settings I can guarantee its more fun than going steady, as long as you can control your emotions properly. Dont waste your time on foot massages and watching horrible hollywood movies, jump in the sack ^^ its the more fun part of the whole shebang anyway. Admittedly, in my current age, and the mindset I have, i couldnt do that anymore myself. I simply dont know anyone to party or hang out with, and going to a bar or club is not an option as those places are filled with radio-retards and MTV-whores. soory off-topic. Such an amusing topic. Can't say I could do it. Is too dangerous to become attach to someone who later finds their significant other and leaves you abandoned. It usually only works for the person that leaves the agreement first. Plus for me no emotional attraction would just annoy me and kill the moment.

hmm i like the idea of it ^^ but as Seinfield showed it seems alot harder then it sounds XD in an ideal world that wood be AWSOME, i want a bf, not a toy....maybe between bfs if we were great friends.....ppl do need time to unwind and just have fun
