ok i think this is what your not getting (i dont mean that rudely) this is all theoretical this isnt ment to involve real world practicality because in the real world condoms are not counterproductive, neither are cigarettes the joke being condoms stops the creation of future customers but in irl it doesnt at all, or as you said the human race would go extinct so irl this isnt actually counterproductive same with rape whistles as i said, if they worked and rape was decreased, the demand for them would as well as less people are being raped but irl obviously this doesnt happen, same with how condoms dont actually hinder their sales by "stopping the production of future customers" its not how businesses work irl

In radio there's two businesses models, number of listeners and hours spent listening. You can either have more people spend less or have less people spend more. Cigarettes and condoms are the second.

I get where you are coming from and im trying to throw out real world physics if you may. But not everyone smokes, not everyone uses condoms. This is true of the real world. But at the same time everyone doesnt want to be raped. So if the people who uses one of these 3 things buys it and then something becomes counterproductive 2/3 will still get more customers. While the 3rd will just stop once the percentage equals to zero...thus leading to no need for rape whistles until it starts back up again.

Yes, but condoms work and yet people still buy them and we arent extinct. Sooooo if rape whistles stopped rape eventually the percentage will equal out to zero and the sales will dip. There is only so many people left who will need to purchase it and the business wont be able to stay alive because of it.

what is the purpose of rape whistles? to decrease rape if rape were decreased than would the sale of rape whistles go up? no, because the necessity has gone down my problem is when you both gave your options, irl they didnt make sense but when i did and obviously mine didnt make sense either, the irl applications applied to it and not the others? thats stupid on paper they are all counterproductive in practice they are not so it applies to all of them, not just my point wait, did you just agree the sale of rape whistles would decrease along with rape? so you do understand that it is counterproductive >w>/ there for its just as applicable as the others suggested

Radio is dying cuz they play the same damn songs no one wants to hear 70 times a day. If i wanna hear a song that much i can just pull it up on youtube XD they find that one song and run it into the ground until the next one comes out.
