headstrong idiot gets in trouble with a devil/curse and because of this becomes a fusion with a devil/curse to escape death, and because of this power hes able to kill the enemy that threatened their life quickly after a super strong person shows up that works for a place that specializes in hunting such creatures, they intend on killing the fusion until they realize they are indeed special because they are able to control their devil/curse side, so the super strong person tells them to work solely for that place and they can live thanks to this the hunting place takes them in under the supervision of said super strong person, where they meet a loud, aggressive woman and a black haired downer guy yeah its literally the exact same premise the details are different from here on out, but jujutsu makes them worse from how chainsaw goes

the halfie trope is just as repetitive as the isekai trope honestly, but doesn't suffer from the plot holes i probz wouldn't dislike jujutsu as much as i do if they just didn't write the mc so lazily like 'oh yeah iv never seen these literal monsters ever before but I'm not scared' give him a reason to be not scared, have suzuka give him courage or hes seen them all his life, something same with his strength, its never explained and just handwaved as 'this is a shonen protagonist, don't think about it uwu' but that's lazy denji wasn't scared of devils because he fought them since he was a child, and he had such a shitty life is why just a piece of jam on toast is enough to make him fight for his new, good life that's how you write a protag fujimoto is a practiced mangaka, so i guess that could be an excuse if jujutsu has a mangaka that's new to writing, but then again kimetsu no yaiba's mangaka was a noobie too and that manga was amazing

Well in chainsaw man the dude was gonna die and the demon fused with his heart granting him power. Where as jujutsu yuuji and the other guy were both gonna die along with his friends. Which lead to him eating the finger and becoming sekuna's vessel. They are looking for the fingers to destroy sekuna after consuming all the fingers. Chainsaw man is looking for the bullets to find the gun dude to kill him. While chainsaw dude is generally friends with the demon, sekuna does not like yuuji or any human at all and is barely shown. Similar in story yes but different directions.

Also i just looked at the reports the mods get and realize now more than ever why this planet should be wiped out. Some of yall need help.

devil, not demon (sorry i hate when people mix them up, devil just sounds so much kooler ;w;) sure, but bottom line the circumstances were basically the same had to fuse to stay alive, and when they did fuse they defeated the devil/curse that was gonna kill them, and then a super strong person shows up to and takes them in because there special and weren't consumed by the curse/devil they fused with i agree it isn't a one to one (still think megumi is a direct rip off aki though, but with less character development) but its extremely similar, so when i notice 'oh this character is like this one, but worse' it makes me sad, because i see potential like i said, the lazy writing for the protag regarding his lack of fear sucks, and if there is a real reason feel free to spoil me, I'm not invested in the anime regardless 4 eps in its a weak anime, there are much better action animes out atm (like kumo, mushoku tensei, and priority egg) I'm glad you can enjoy something i cant though, i wish i could get into it and just enjoy it because the animation is really good (though too shiny at times, reminds me of tokyo ghoul re)
