How important is Anime/Manga to you in a relationship?

dangoboy
Like if they other person had zero interest in it would it kill your relationship?
robscene
So long as they're not pointing at your interests and saying you need to stop viewing/playing/listening/doing that, then I don't see it as a big deal. I'll respect your interests so long as you can tolerate mine. Different strokes for different folks afterall.

Depends on what you are expecting from the relationship. There are probably lot more important things to consider in a partner then just about interest/hobbies. So no, shouldn't be a deal breaker. Plus you would probably have a better time geeking out or fangirling about a anime/manga stuff with your friends. At least when your opinions clashed about some stupid things, you are not married or in a relationship with them. >_>

For me, dating a girl who likes anime or video games would be a great plus; but it's okay if she's not that into anime or video games herself. As long as she doesn't mind, it's fine.

It'd be nice, but it's not a requirement. Tolerance of my gaming/interests is the most important thing, but it helps to have some mutual hobbies with one another.

I'd be very bored if they had zero interest in trying ANY series. Like it's best to be with someone who can relate to you and be a little open to most of the things you like.
burninghalo
I agree with GunvoltX on the general idea that it's a plus. Not a requirement. But it is a nice plus nonetheless.

Well, I'm here to find someone to cuddle and watch anime with so it's fairly important but not absolutely necessary.
siruboo
music would be more importent. if they like justin beiber and stuff it wouldnt work lol
wertingman
It isn't important but a plus for me. If my other half can accept the fact that I like anime is fine by me. Them liking anime/manga just means I have something else to talk about.
