I've had my fair share of relationships, some that I'm thankful for and others...not so much. Apparently I only attract compulsive liars, which probably proves how blind I am to the person I'm with. I guess I'm easily manipulated, but whatever. So, recently my now ex broke up with me, and she'd always say crap that really made me feel like she'd never leave me, but then she did...twice...so, I know she's going to come back (because I know her that well) and I need advice on how to deal with her when she does. Anyone got any ideas? She's got depression, so nothing too harsh, please.

That's just how women are. You gotta take everything they say with a grain of salt.

My advice? Move on.
Edit: I'll expand though... Small lies eventually become large lies. You're always going to have a feeling of distrust with her and it will do no good for either of your mental states.

Other than making irresponsible promises to not leave you ever without taking in consideration the future and how she might feel a year from now or 5 years, what exactly makes her a compulsive liar. Because either you're misunderstanding what that term is and painting her as a villain or you're omitting info.

Eh. My advice is because I don't personally play that, "on again, off again" crap in relationships. In fact, I hate it because it's so childish.
Date or don't, it's simple. Relationships like the OP mentioned usually happen because the other is getting something on the side. When the pool dries up they go back to, "dating".

Stick with the facts that happened and point them out. Compulsive liars take advantage of people who are nice and take it for granted. They overlook there own mistakes and think nothing of it because they can make them again like it is not a "big deal". Do not let this happen. You can not play nice and need to consistently where you stand. And that there are consequences for making those decisions.
This is of course you want to give her a second chance. There is no soft choice around this because sooner or later compulsive liars will have to deal with choices they make..as it affects everyone around them. You have a choice in whether or not to continue to put up with this...Just saying.

If she left you before, then she'll probably do it again. You don't need that kind of crap in your life. What you need to do is distance yourself from her (not in a mean way though). If she does come back to you, you need to tell her that if she really wants you back she needs to stop bullshiting around and take the relationship more seriously.
From there, depending on her response, you might need to tell her to fuck off. It's up to you if you want to take her back or not, but just follow your gut. I wish you luck, my friend.
