Online Relationships

its scary how sad our life is just getting a text is the closest well get to a relationship

I've had two LDR's/ online both failed. First one was just toxic and he was talking to someone else while he was with me. That one was my online. Second one cheated on me twice and it was nothing but emotional abuse. LDR's can work but at some point someone's going to break. You'll eventually want physical contact.

I haven't personally been in a LDR, but my best friend was in one for several years and they ultimately happily married. They first met each other face to face like 6 or 7 years into the relationship because he was in the Air Force and based in Japan and Seattle. So it does work out but it's definitely one of those things that depend on both people's personalities.

Depends on the people involved... In my case... Not worth it. A single word can break everything apart even if the other person claims to be there no matter what. Learned my lesson.

I dont know, never experienced one before. I suppose it would be nice as long as the individuals shared interests and spent time with each other in a skype or something. Its been a long time since I had a normal IRL relationship so I wouldn't count myself the bastion of great relationships or an expert on love, I just hope I can have someone to spend time with and enjoy their company. Whatever that entails, I am game.
