Nonono, I had my own point to prove, it just leaned on your post. :)

I've tried to keep this site clean of the assholes. The people like LordRagna, Brian/IDGAF, kiowiri and such all deserved to be banned because they harassed other users, talked shit about them, or tried to silence people like me. I have controversial opinions, yes, and I sometimes have fired off at people for being idiots, or starting personality cults here, yes, but I've done a decent job of alerting the administration about people who aren't welcomed here. I for instance disagree with Gudmoore on some issues, but I still respect him, and certainly wouldn't do anything towards him because of his opinions. Just because I have differing opinions, though, I love that people take it way to seriously. Its amazingly hilarious.

Max I have to disagree with you on respect there. It should be something people commonly extend to one another. Whether it is respecting a person's personal space, their privacy, or even their feelings. There are limits sure but it should be taken as a given. It's why people who habitually break such social constructs are ostracized. We show respect and it is given in kind.

I barely said anything about respect but okay. I'm not going to kiss someone's ass unfortunately. If someone like LordRagna comes along they're going to have their visits here hell. It's okay to have a different opinion. It is not okay to be sexist, homophobic, or transphobic on a site where there are many of the groups targeted by such disrespect.

The main problem here is everyone is a human being. While I do adore your views and obviously do feel the same way as you, I also learn that while the most compassionate creature in this earth is a human being, the worst and most vile creature is also a human being. And while there are people who want other people to care about other people feelings, there are also people who who only care about their own, not others. And that is perfectly normal IMHO as it goes both ways. No matter where you go, it will the same. So just accept it for what it is (no need to ignore it), and try not to dwell on it. And try not to lose too much of that faith over some random thread on the interweb.
