Does anyone know if you can block a profile on MO ?

I agree with Neet. On the public forum your profile page is like your personal space; abuse on there isn't much different than getting unwanted texts. If the abuse is in a thread, then fair enough, it's a public area, but you shouldn't have to put up with that on your wall or inbox. I think a blocking feature is a good idea.

there is one way to block people...all you gitta do is change your profils settings to make it look like your a minor anyone under 18 needs a friend request from the other person before they can talk. sometimes your able to message people on their page and they can reply back but other than that you have to change your age in order to block which i wish it wasnt like that cause 17 isnt my real age but i also dont like people harrassing me so it comes with a price

What the neet said... Too many think the First Amendment lets you say whatever you want. All the 1st Amendment does is stop the government from going after you for practicing free speech. It does not protect you from discipline from your employer. Yes you're free to say what you want. However, your boss is allowed to fire you at their discretion. Freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequence.
