murder is just as bad as rape imo you can be traumatized by seeing someone be killed in front of you thats where it affects a single person in particular. seeing someone be killed in front of you and experiencing rape but are traumatic events and both affect you in some way. everyone equally fears being raped as well like for straight guys to be raped by a guy bigger than them im sure you would be scared. i dont think people should be quick to jump at the word rape but not when it comes to murder. its seen in every single anime with an action tag its even found in video games you murder people. even in kids games sometimes like minecraft when hit a mob with a sword and they despawn you just killed that mob in a way. rape is on the same level as murder and both can be seen as controversial

I am weary of everyone regardless of gender. And am very blunt and straight-forward with everyone. Hentai is made for enjoyment so comparing the death of a character in a show to a rape Hentai has no point. Firstly, nobody enjoys the death of a loved character and secondly, the level of degration and humiliation inflicted during rape is in no way comparable to the one being killed (though that obviously depends on how someone is killed). Somebody who enjoys murder or killing scenes no matter the context is messed up just as much though. So I can't really relate to your argument. Still, you're welcome to quote me on where I jumped at "men's throats" in this thread. Also, the only way my bad experiences influenced me is that I started carrying around pepper spray and knifes. I don't judge random people or judge one gender more harshly than the other. Though it's obviously easier to disregard an opinion by making it seem conditioned.

What makes death note controversial? Light Yagami is a murderer with a god complex. It's like calling Jigsaw's whole "not killing" attitude controversial. You can pretend there's some deep philosophy but fact is both of them are just loonies trying to have their way with people.
