What is keeping you from being happy/complete/fulfilled?

darkxangel
You - myself... whatever - stupidity, laziness, blaming other people are just bad excuses. Only you limit your own life. ;D

@ KyonSuzumiya(Yuki-chan) the same also I find the past holds me back too I feel like I should of followed a path as a child that I never toke because I thought about to much, now that I'm older it seems others have followed that path that I never toke.

Isolation loneliness. I lived in Brazil and im currently in France without speaking the main language, is hard to talk to people .. Time/Decisions Even here, I think I could do better, I could have chosen a different path in my life, wrong decisions that you want to change. I think it's a common problem. We all have our mistakes and we want to change them, as I think that if I had followed this path or if I devote myself more about it ... It is a pity not to have a time machine ^^ And last one Motivation

As shallow as this is...money. I could probably do more things with my friends and pursue new hobbies if I had more money. Other than that, I'm okay just going to my classes and studying most of the time.

Hang in there, Mathews. You're a long way from home, but that doesn't mean you have to regret where you are right now. I can see from a sociological point of view why you feel that way though. Most of the people I meet from Brazill come from very tightly knitted families and communities with vibrant social structures. Its hard to find that sort of thing in some parts of the world.

Career I can be happy in. I've tried some different professions but never been happy with them. Current job is alright, grants me some freedom to explore so I might try volunteering. I always had a problem in school(public grade school) and 9-5 jobs with just being miserable so I dream of a 'love of labor.' Was in college for a while and doing really well but had to drop out due to personal problems. Going back now would be impractical amd sadly college seems to cause more harm than good. I'm staying positive though and I'm going to keep exploring with an open mind.
