I was just about to post this topic. I already have plans to move to Canada if Trump wins. He is a joke, enough said. Honestly I hate all of the candidates this time around like seriously why vote. But if I was forced too perhaps Sanders. Honestly im scared he'd crook from a stroke or heart attack before getting any thing done but yeeppo. USA sucks but I live here so just deal with it or leave. I hate all politicians really.

@Tri Tri <3: Yea, I agree that most of the candidates are not that great., especially trump.
I seriously nvr voted. Even if I did, It wouldn't make a difference.
Now about Trump: The reason why people support him is that they want to see US get worse. They want to see the worse person to be president and tremble in the worse possible way. I researched "WHY People favor Trump." That's the number one reason. We be in chaos if he is elected.

So why have none of you ever voted? It is the greatest priveledge and honor that a citizen of the United States can exercise in the running and formation of the government. The founding fathers and later generations garunteed voting as a right to all citizens of age, not just the ones that agreed with them. If you truly dont like the state of things, get involved! There is no other country in the world where the individual has so much opportunity to be active in government and help change the state of things if people dont like it.

Hmmm... The individual isn't as important as the state. But ya know, keep thinking your individual vote makes a difference.;)

I disagree, the good of the state does not necessarily supercede the good of the individual. That is why we have laws that govern the state in its actions, and right that we are able to defend against infringement. My vote does count, and so does yours. If you don't participate, then you will never make a difference.

I usually vote third party.
2000 - Ralph Nader
2004 - Ralph Nader
2008 - Barack Obama
2012 - Gary Johnson
I've been able to vote in 4 presidential elections now. GOD I'm old! XD
But in all seriousness if I align anywhere close to any political ideal, itd probably be Libertarian. Fiscally conservative in some but socially liberal in a lot of ways. Neither major party really 100% reflect my ideals. If I had to pick a major party candidate at this second, it'd probably be Sanders just because he's campaigning the right way and sticks by his record the vast majority of the time.
The GOP stand no chance in a general election against either Clinton or Sanders if they give their nomination to Cruz or Trump. Their views are too far right to appeal to the majority of centrist and independent voters to get any sort of traction in most major swing states. The only candidate IMO who stands any real chance that is sitting anywhere near the top of most major GOP polls is Rubio. He's a minority candidate that has both the appeal of social and fiscal conservatives, is a popular Senator from a major swing state the GOP would need to win to have a chance in the electoral college, is young, and has political experience under his belt, but even he is far from perfect.
